Country Logistics Resilience Indicators

Web-based tool supports identifying country-specific vulnerabilities and building resilient supply chains

Organisations today face a multitude of operational and environmental risks that can result in supply chain disruptions, as highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Understanding those risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and building resiliency in the supply chain is particularly critical in the humanitarian and development context where life-saving medicine and food must be delivered to people in need.

Based on the work of the World Food Programme (WFP) and supported by Kuehne Logistics University (KLU) as part of the DFID-funded ‘Ready to Respond’ initiative, HELP has developed an interactive web-based solution. The online tool presents a combination of 26 indicators across five dimensions to support the humanitarian logistics community in identifying country-specific vulnerabilities that could expose their supply networks.
