HELP Logistics develops curriculum for University of Public Health in Myanmar

In a first joint-project both organisations are supporting the Government of Myanmar to develop a post graduate certification programme in Health Supply Chain Management designed to meet the academic needs of the University of Public Health.

HELP Logistics and Chemonics International, a prime contractor for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Procurement Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project, have entered into a global partnership to improve the productivity and functioning of health supply chains. In a first joint-project both organisations are supporting the Government of Myanmar to develop a post graduate certification programme in Health Supply Chain Management designed to meet the academic needs of the University of Public Health. The programme will be delivered through competency-based interactive teaching introducing SCM concepts with direct application to the Myanmar context. HELP Logistics provided 50% of the curriculum in the form of 11 classroom learning modules. The programme will be launched in March 2020 at the University of Public Health. Plans are on-going to replicate the curriculum in collaboration with universities in the Eastern and Western Africa regions.
