HELP Logistics Partners with CIPS to Offer Accredited Procurement Training for Humanitarian Organisations Worldwide

HELP Logistics is delighted to announce its three-year partnership agreement with The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS). This strategic collaboration aims to make accredited procurement training accessible to humanitarian organisations globally, providing tailored solutions that align with their project needs.

As part of this partnership, HELP Logistics and CIPS have jointly developed The Certified Humanitarian Procurement Professional (CHPP) Course. This specialised programme targets humanitarian practitioners involved in sourcing and purchasing, empowering them with the necessary skills to navigate the complex procurement challenges within the sector.

The CHPP Course is a comprehensive training programme designed to enhance the existing procurement competencies of humanitarian professionals. By strengthening their capacity to contribute more effectively, economically, and efficiently to their organization's life-saving efforts, this course equips participants with the tools needed to make a meaningful impact.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with CIPS on this important initiative," said Sean Rafter, Managing Director at HELP Logistics. "This partnership enables us to extend our commitment to improving supply chain management in the humanitarian sector by providing accredited procurement training tailored to the unique needs of humanitarian organisations worldwide. We believe that by enhancing procurement competencies, we can drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in humanitarian operations, ultimately saving more lives."

The CHPP Course covers a wide range of procurement topics relevant to the humanitarian context, including supplier management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical insights, enabling participants to apply their learnings directly to real-world scenarios.

Through this partnership, HELP Logistics and CIPS are dedicated to promoting excellence in humanitarian procurement and driving positive change in the delivery of aid worldwide. The collaboration underscores their shared commitment to capacity building and continuous improvement within the sector.
