Supply chain training for Malaysia COVID-19 response medical team

Approximately 175 participants from government and private agencies tuned in to learn and exchange supply chain knowledge in medical response activities.

HELP Logistics ollaborated with WFP-UNHRD Malaysia and MERCY Malaysia to offer an ‘Introduction to Humanitarian Supply Chain Management’ training to a group of INGOs and government agencies in Malaysia. All the participants engaged in the COVID-19 operational response in Malaysia, especially during the restricted movement phase. The participants are volunteers of NGOs and NGIs (i.e. non-governmental individuals - people using crowdfunding to assist beneficiaries) or work with Governmental agencies that are providing relief directly to affected people (e.g. the Malaysian civil defence and Ministry of Health of Malaysia). This training focused on bridging the gap in supply chain knowledge at the grass-roots level, on strengthening humanitarian operations, and on improving COVID-19 response activities in the country health programs.
