HELP Logistics has received the 2026 FAO Partnership Award in recognition of its long-standing collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to strengthen humanitarian agricultural supply chains.
Presented by FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu at FAO Headquarters in Rome, the annual award recognizes partnerships that contribute to sustainable development and deliver meaningful results for people and communities around the world.
The award acknowledges a decade of collaboration between FAO and HELP Logistics, combining FAO’s technical leadership with supply chain expertise to strengthen the delivery of agricultural assistance in increasingly complex operating environments.
Most recently, this partnership culminated in the development of FAO’s Supply Chain Action Plan, a transformative roadmap designed to strengthen how agricultural assistance is planned, sourced and delivered across the organization. The Action Plan positions supply chain management as a strategic driver of impact and lays the foundation for more integrated, resilient and data-driven operations.
The strategy builds on FAO’s first global end-to-end supply chain assessment, conducted with support from HELP Logistics. The diagnostic engaged more than 1,000 staff across 130 offices and included in-depth reviews of country operations across emergency, resilience and development contexts. The findings informed a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen coordination, visibility, planning and delivery across FAO’s global supply chain network.
In its award announcement, FAO recognized HELP Logistics for its contribution to strengthening humanitarian agricultural supply chains through a structured, innovative and scalable approach. FAO noted that the collaboration is expected to improve the efficiency, coordination and timeliness of agricultural input delivery in crisis settings while providing a model that can be replicated across regions.
Accepting the award on behalf of HELP Logistics, Jonas Stumpf, Regional Director Europe, highlighted the significance of the partnership and the people behind it:
“Together, we have elevated the role of supply chain management, positioning it as a strategic enabler and a driving force for FAO’s mission, the communities it serves and the wider humanitarian and development sector.”
The award reflects the dedication, expertise and commitment of colleagues across both organizations who have contributed to the partnership over the years. It also highlights the growing recognition that supply chains are not simply operational functions, but critical enablers of effective humanitarian and development action.
HELP Logistics was recognized alongside the Jordan Youth Innovation Forum and the Maasai Integrated Development Initiative, organizations whose work is advancing innovation, resilience and sustainable development in diverse contexts.
