Kühne Foundation - HELP Logistics

HELP Logistics and KLU supporting IFRC with their upcoming virtual climate summit on 9 and 10 September 2020.

In recognition of how climate change is having major humanitarian consequences, and to translate vision into action, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent will hold a fully virtual Climate:Red summit on 9 and 10 September 2020.

The summit will provide an engaging platform to exchange, debate, motivate and inspire each other to scale up climate action and to reduce environmental impact in humanitarian supply chains.

This initiative aligns with the ambition from different humanitarian actors such as the Global Logistics Cluster to create a platform for sharing good practice and knowledge for greening the humanitarian supply chain, identifying and prioritizing gaps and aligning initiatives.

HELP Logistics and KLU are proudly supporting the summit with Professor Alan McKinnon moderating the panel “Get Together Chat – CEOs Responsibilities” and HELP’s Director Global Programs, Jonas Stumpf, facilitating the session on “Enhancing Sustainability in the Humanitarian Supply Chain – An Operational Perspective”.
